Is the money I save by keeping my house at 65 degrees worth the personal inactivity due to it being too cold to get out of bed?

I have that same problem in the winter months, actually. Especially because my old apartment was really poorly insulated. It's pretty awful. I'd go ahead and pay a little bit more, if I were you.
Is there something you could give up as a trade-off? Like drive less and save on gasoline to make up for the higher heating bill?

I would say yes, but I don't really get out of bed no matter what temperature it is...
